My microwave oven was accidentally started with NOTHNG in it

Resolved Question:

My microwave oven was accidentally started with NOTHNG in it and ran until it turned itself off. Is it possible to have this repaired, or will it have to be replaced.? Fuses? I checked the one outside and it is o.k.

okay it blew the internal fuse, this happens when you run these with nothing in the microwave. the fuse is located behind the control panel and looks like this. you can get these at any lowe's for around $3.00, you need to open the control panel to access this. a tech would charge you about $80.00 to come out and replace this, if you can do it yourself you can save that. hope this helps. thanks Bryan
