Resolved Question:

GE front load washer (wbvh5200j3ww) will not run. When I press start in any setting it locks the door 4 times and runs the drain pump for several minutes. When trying to enter service mode it does the same thing. What do I check next?

Yes. That's the procedure I followed. It seems like it is trying to go into test mode because now it just beeps twice when I push any buttons, however, the screen is blank and it just locks the door and pumps. It almost seems like it thinks it is overflowing and has to pump out water before doing anything else, but it is empty.

unfortunately if the machine will not go into the test mode the main control has failed and will need to be replaced. you can pick this up a local supply house or order it on line. heres a link to order on line. sorry for the bad news. you can try unplugging this for 5 minutes and see if it resets if you haven't already tried that. however if it doesn't reset the main board has failed. hope this helps, thanks and best wishes, Bryan

I went to remove the control board and found a connector was not plugged in. Maybe rattled loose. Thanks for the help anyways.
