Hi I would be happy to help you with this.
Is the water like a drip or Just pouring out?
In either case this is an easy repair.

Hi Tim,
What you need is a new water inlet solenoid kit.(inexpensive)
It is behind the lower access panel on the back of the fridge and the kit has everything you need to make this repair
Its very easy to replace and will stop the leak

I'VE ALREADY TRIED THAT BEFORE BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. I THINK BECAUSE THIS IS AN OLD UNIT AND I NEED TO BUY A NEW ONE
Expert:  Tech Michael replied 5 years ago.
Tim did you replaced the solenoid?
Did that make any change?
I reccomened that because its almost always the solenoid.
If that doesnt work then the problem is the ice maker itself.
The signal that turns on the solenoid comes fro the ice maker, occasionally a circuit inside the ice maker fails in a position where electric constantly runs to the solenoid making it stay open or partially open.
this can be tested by using a multimeter set on AC voltage. And placing the meter probes on the solenoids two wire connectors, if there is always voltage there then the ice maker itself is bad and needs to be replaced.
