I have a model 12067AEW refrig. Several days ago the ice maker froze causing the auger tofreese up. Not the first time it's hapened. Removed the storage bin and removed the excessiceing. Since then it hasn't produced any ice cubes. The auger is working properly. After going through the trouble shooting guide and replacing the water filter nothing has fixed the problem. Water pressure for water dispensing seems to be normal. I don't believe that there is any water going into the cube tray. Is there another switch or sensor that turns off the water to the cube maker? Everything worked fine before the freeze up. Thank You
Hello. Thank you for choosing Just Answer. I will be helping you with your question today. Make sure the fill tube that runs through the back wall of the freezer to the ice maker isn't frozen. This mean you will have to remove the ice maker. The ice maker is easy to remove. Just loosen the screws in the top of the ice make and there might be 1 screw in the bottom that need to be removed. Then lift up on the ice maker.
