Dryer shuts down, showing an E68 error code. Button solution does not help.

Already Tried:
Reset button, but it was not caught undercover as mentioned. Unpluged dryer, opened and reclosed door.

Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

E68 means that the display control board thinks that one of the buttons is stuck. Rub your thumb over all the buttons to make sure one of them isn't stuck. If none of the buttons appear stuck, then you'll need to order and replace the display control board because the button sensor are part of the display board itself and for some reason the display board is either shorted or just not reading the buttons correctly. Either way the display board will need to be replaced.
