i have whirlpool accubake oven. when i turned the oven from bake to broil it started to make a loud whistling or humming noise when i turned the oven off it was still making that noise but i turned the oven on bake and it stopped worried might be some kind of gas leake.

Your oven uses a electric solenoid gas valve to supply gas to the oven when it calls for heat, You hear when it turns on. You hear a clickclick-clickclick and then the flame comes on. I can only think that the sound would be coming from the gas valve because the bake and broil are together in one body. It may have been the internal mechanism that turns the gas off is what you heard. I would not be concerned about a gas leak. That would be highly unlikely. And you would smell a gas leak for sure. However, if you keep hearing the noise, I would call a service tech out to have a listen. It may be a pre-cursor to the valve failing. Here is what it looks like
