Hi we have a custom built in french door Refrigerator with drawer freezer below. Whilst temp for freezer stays at 0 - freezer keeps frosting and it leaks water a few hours after opening. I think the decor panel was too heavy so I took it off but it still does it. Any solutions?

does it get frost on the food too

No - it tends to be around door and top basket and a thin film of ice sheet underneath bottom drawer

you have two problems, you need to replace the door seal, part number W10164041 which cost about $26 and you can get it at a local appliance parts dealer near you plus you just need to clear the drain ,, remove the inside back panel in the freezer, pour hot water into the trough at the back under the coil and open the drain, once water drains as it should then put it back together and it will be fine again

set out the basket, remove the icemaker and the screws holding the back in and just pull it out
