My ice maker on my Kenmore Side by Side model 52203100 is not getting water. The water dispenser on the fridge works fine. I tested the solinoid valve that supplies the ice maker with the dispenser connector and it works fine. It looks like the valve is not getting the voltage to open the valve. Any suggestions?

Most times when the ice maker is not sending voltage to the valve it is a bad ice maker.
Give me a couple minuets to see if there are any diagnostics you can do to confirm that it is the ice maker.
What are the first three numbers of th emodel number? They are kind of small and may be hard to see..

On page one you will see th etesting procedure in th eright hand columb. Jumper the test points and see if th emotor will run. If it does not run replace th ewhole unit. If it does run follow the procedure and you will see when the unit should call for water. If it doesnt call foe water then again replace the whole unit.
The rest of the rep[air and diagnostics are in the manual. A little reading and you will be able to repair and diagnose the unit with no problems.
