Maytage Neptune front load washer - cycle seems to get confused and when it gets to rinse/spin, just runs but doesn't spin out. Doesn't seem to be off balance. Sometimes if I unplug for awhile, let it reset, then try again, it will run all the way thru a cycle just fine. And then again maybe not.

Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.Do you have a model number so that I can better assist you? Also, does the water drain out of the tub even though it won't spin?
Model MAH5500BWW Serial 73939263ZU
water drain out - not usually
ok, so you need to run the cycle and remove the back access panel of the washer. Watch the tub when it should be spinning and does the pulley turn back and forth? Does it just sit there and do nothing? Does it spin one direction but just slowly?
took panel off - was in middle of cycle with 13 min left - got stuck at that 13 min mark - unplugged, waited a minute, plugged back in, restarted and finished out cycle just fine. pulley seemed to work just fine from 13 to finish.
ok so either the tub is just out of balance so it keeps going back and forth at 13, or the motor control board needs to be ordered and replaced because it's not advancing the cycle like it should to go into drain and spin.
load size doesn't seem to affect the issue. how do you rebalance the tub and do you have a part number for the motor control board and where is it and how hard is it to replace?
The motor control board is mounted under the tub in a plastic box. Below is a video that shows you how to remove the front panel to access the part.CLICK HEREAnd below is a link to the part you'd need to order.CLICK HERE
where can i find a list of error codes and what they mean?
You would need a service manual for that and that requires a password XXXXX being a technician. Off the top of my head here are a list of the common errors you can get.FL --- failed door lockLR --- locked rotorDO --- door openAnd that's really about it I think for this model. It doesn't detect a lot of errors so most of the time there isn't an error code for the problems the washer has.
