I have a ED2FHEXVS02 fridge that keeps leaking. The leak comes is coming out from the freezer side, next to where the water filter goes in. I replaced the water filter, but still the same problem. The leak DOES NOT occur every time you dispense water, or when the ice tray is refilling. The leak occurs approx every 10-14 days, like maybe it has to do with some kind of defrost cycle. PuzzledDan

I believe it maybe coming from the inside,back, bottom of freezer. The amount of water that leaks out appears to always be about the same quantity when it happens
You may have a blocked defrost drain hole. You will need to remove the inside back wall of the freezer. The drain is below the coil if there is ice in the tray use a hair dryer to get rid of it and boiling water to clear the drain hole.
