I have a GE Profile Antartica model# XXXXX the freezer

Resolved Question:

I have a GE Profile Antartica model# XXXXX the freezer temp is fine but the fridge keeps dropping to 28 degrees. We have it set at 44 degrees just to keep it at 28. At first if I shut it off for a couple hours & restarted it the temp would hold at proper setting but now that doesn't work. Any ideas?

this is a common problem on these refrigerators. G.E. has redesigned the damper assemblies in these. you need to replace the damper assembly, this is straight back in the center of the refrigerator section . you can order this @ , it comes with instruction . thanks , Bryan
