Customer Question

Morning! Our Ge Profile microwave lost all power. Have checked breaker, outlet and ran an extension to another working outlet - no power still.
What can we do to check the unit before we call for repair?

Hi. Welcome to JustAnswer.

There are fuses behind the grill/control panel that may be blown.

To access them remove the front grill Two or three screws along the top of the unit and it comes off. If you do not see them remove the conrtrol panel. The screw to do that will be visable once you take the grill off.

You can get a replacement fuse at any Radio Shack, or automotive parts store. Be sure that you get the same type of fuse.
