Resolved Question:

The refrigerator in my apartment (HTR15ABRFRCC--TG769914) is making loud popping noises every 12 hours. Other than food collectiing frost in their freezer bags, it seems to work OK. Should I be concerned?

Tim Alan :

The noise your hearing is the automatic defrost cycle. The unit will go into a defrost once every 12 hours. There is nothing to be concerned with. A popping noise is quite common along with hissing and dripping noises.

Frost and ice particles inside bags will happen also. Only flash freezing or deep freezing items will that not occur, most residential refrigerators and freezers will have that happen.
