Is this happening all the time or just during use?

It sounds like a relay went out on the clock/control board. This unit has big issues with the control board going out and making noises. Usually it is a loud clicking noise but sometimes it is a loud screech. Turn the breaker off for about 5 minutes to let it reset. If it doesn't reset then you will have to replace the clock/control.NNN-NN-NNNNis the part number for the clock if the noise doesn't go away after the reset. It is pretty easy to replace and it costs around 100 dollars. You will have to use the plastic button cover off of your old clock when you get the new one. It does not come with it.
