just buught a kitchen aid dishwasher. hooked everything uo as per instructions, power on,water on.turnn on to test and no water in the dishwasher,no kinked hoses. bled the intake line.

Do you have a volt meter? Also you are not using a flood safe hose correct?

no backflow preventative yes on the voltmeter

Ok great just making sure because these units do not operate if the flood safe is on. With the unit set to wash test the valve where the water line connects. On the two wires what voltage are you getting? First just thinking here..the float in the front corner lift up on it and make sure it slides down freely. If that checks ok and you have 110v to the valve the valve itself has failed.
