The water outlet on my refrigerator door does not work but the ice maker does. Also, carrots and other vegetables are freezing in my hydrator drawer. Any ideas as to what's causing these problems?Thanks!

The water line has frozen either in the door or in the fridge. The fridge is getting too cold if your food is freezing, so set BOTH the freezer and Refrigerator to a warmer setting. All the cold air comes from the freezer, so if it is too cold you will have food freeze at the bottom since the temperature sensor is at the top- cold air falls, so the bottom always gets colder than the top. It will take a few days for the line to thaw out once the temps are changed. IF this makes no difference then further investigation will be needed, but why make something that could be a simple cure complex unless it needs to be.
