Customer Question

Hello, My Maytag, won't wash, spin or empty.

I used it for three loads of washing, then I loaded a sheep skin under blanket, which Ihave washed numerous times, but my maytag went on strike.
I used the resit button, pulled the large button in and out. I loosened the load but to no avail.
When the lid is closed, the adgater works about 4 times, then stops. Not sure if it is the switch on the lid, or the machine needs to be reset, differently to the reset button on the load adjustment.
Could you please advise, what I need to do.

Many thanks

Hi my name isXXXXX will try and help you. When it stops agitating i am assuming the motor stops is that correct? If and when the motor stops does the timer continue clicking or timing down?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi Tim,

Yes, the motor stops when the agitating stops, the timer stops as well.

The motor stops as well, when is commences to pump the water out. My husband thought it may be the switch.

Many thanks
