Randy 43 :

ok thx, open the freezer door and tell me if you hear a fan running?

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

yes, freezer fan is running and fan at bottom of fridge is turning too, i checked that

Randy 43 :

any frost on the back panel of the freezer section?

Randy 43 :

on the panel

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

yes, a light coating. freezer seems to be fine.

Randy 43 :

there shouldnt be any ,,if the fan in the freezer is definatel running? then you have a defrost problem ..the fan blows the air into the bottom section ,if there is a frost build up then the frost acts like a blockage

Randy 43 :

soon ur freezer will start getting affected

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

yes, fan in freezer is definitely running

Randy 43 :

either thermostat, heater or timer issue

Randy 43 :

Thermostat 63001051 Main Product View

Randy 43 :

thermostat can be checked for continuity

Randy 43 :

same with heater ..no pic however

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

how do i check that?

Randy 43 :

if both those ok you will need a defrost timer...it is usually the thermostat ,sometimes the timer

Randy 43 :

heaters are pretty good

Randy 43 :

with a meter ..set for continuity,,if you arent familiar with a meter u need a tech

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

so i need a tech then, great.

Randy 43 :

well, i dont know ur technical ability? if you dont have a meter or know how it works i cant predict that..im just here to tell you what the problem is..

JACUSTOMER-3kuhfa49- :

ok

Randy 43 :

thx good luck..any more questions im still here to help u out

Randy 43 :
