JACUSTOMER-42psh9ku- :

nolights come up.totally blank

Randy 43 :

You checked the breaker is on? or did you check for 120 volts coming to the dw?

JACUSTOMER-42psh9ku- :

Yes to both

Randy 43 :

the marets are tight in the junction box of the Dw?, that is a common spot ...if ok, remove the torx sxcrews around inner door panel an u will have access to the latch,, check connections at latch ,pull up on each wire that goes thru the sheath where the door hinges and the wires go down to the motor area..check that area for broken wires ..if the latch and wires are ok replace the board

sorry Randy. This is way out of my expertise. The dishwasher is only 2 years old & has been only used for 5 months because it is a vacation house.I think I need a Maytag service man.

Randy 43 :

ok, but if you checked for voltage i thought u were familiar with this ..good luck

JACUSTOMER-42psh9ku- :

sorry I don't have the tools or expertise to do this , As I said, this is a virtually new machine. I guess I need a Maytag service man
