Resolved Question:

We are having a problem with our Enviro Westport stove. We are using LP gas and can't get a blue flame no matter how much we try to adjust it. The outside of our house is black where the stove vent thtough the wall and the glass on the inside of the stove is black with soot. We have had a repair man out and he couldn't get to burn clean either. Do you have any suggestions?

Has the flame been blue in the past? If it has, remove the burner assembly, and wash the inside free of soot with hot water. After it dries thoroughly, replace it, and adjust the air shutter for a proper flame.
