Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX forward to helping you today.

can you get us the make and model # ?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
maytag 24" black. model # XXXXX not legible. electronic touch display. 22-1/2 in rough in size instead of the slightly larger one. Have replaced temp sensor twice. same result oven heats. and error codes when it gets to set temp. doesn't matter if it's 350 365 400. what ever i set it to it f3's. if i hit cancel and try again it continues to do the same thing. as the oven unit totally warms up it will no longer cancel the f3 code. have to wait until it cools down

its the electronic control (clock) if you changed the sensor the clocks the issue.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
the clock seems to function correctly everything responds all modes function the broiler turns hi and low. of course it f3s after heating up. So you believe that if i change that display it should function correctly??
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
yes , there are only two parts that control temp and will give a fault signal. one is the sensor which you changed and the other the clock/control , unfortunately if the sensor you replaced is good then the control is bad, thanks Bryan
