If you set the machine to spin only, does the door lock?

Does the drain pump run?

Does the drum turn?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.
The drum does not turn and it sounds like the drain pump trying to start and then the door light starts flashing again

OK, thanks for that.

The normal cause of this fault is the motor is open circuit.

Unplug the appliance.

Take the rear panel off.

Check the wiring to the motor plug and check the plug itself.

The wiring can break internally.

If ok, take the motor out and check the carbon brushes to see if they have worn out.

If they have, replace them and reassemble the appliance.

Try the machine again, if this is the only fault, it should work again.
