My LG Dryer, DLE5955W is making a chirp sound about every three

Resolved Question:

My LG Dryer, DLE5955W is making a chirp sound about every three minutes. The dryer is turned off. What is the cause of this, and how do I make it stop? Thanks!

Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

There is nothing that can cause a chirping noise from the dryer except the control board itself. Try to unplug the dryer for 60 seconds to see if the electronics will reset. If not, then the display control board would need to be ordered and replaced because it's just shorted for one reason or another.
