Hi I'm John I will help you with the no heat problem.

Was it taking longer to dry a load before this happened ?

A thermostat could have blown.

Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Ya it was taking forever to dry anything and it had no heat.
Expert:  John replied 4 years ago.

The venting to the outside could be blocked and caused the hi- limit thermostat to fail.

Check the venting and replace these two thermostats it should fix the problem.

You can check the flat thermostat by unplugging the dryer and join and tape the wires together , now plug the dryer back in and try the dryer if it heats replace the thermostats.
