If the hoses and the filters are clear then you probably have a bad water valve on the unit.
It may not be opening OR it may not be opening enough.
Do you know what water setting the unit was on when the error occured?
The rinse cycle only uses cold water and the cold water valve has 3 - 4 valves on the one valve assembly.
I would put it on the hot/cold cycle and see if it fills.
If so, replace the cold water valve. If not, replace the hot water valve.
F170 is the hot water valve and F160 is the cold water valve.
Both valves are easy to replace. You just need to determine which is at fault. I will get the part numbers for you.
how do i get to the valves?
On the back of the top panel there will be 2 screws that hold it on. Remove the screws and push the top panel back and lift it off. The valves will be in the back/top area.
5221ER1003A is the cold valve. 5220FR2006H is the hot valve.
where can i order them?
You can order them by calling Sears Canada with the part number you need and they will ship it out to you.
is that where i call to order them?
Ill just replace them both
Is there anything else I can help you with?
is it possible it could be something else?
Not on this unit.
