Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

If you open the freezer door, do you hear a fan running inside the freezer itself? The fan will be very noticable when the door is open as opposed to closed if the fan is running.

Yes I can hear the fan running.

Do you have any other questions?

ok so you need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the lower back panel inside the freezer. If it's packed with frost then use a hair dryer to thaw it out. The refrigerator just cools by stealing air from the freezer and the fan blowing it into the refrigerator. If there is a lot of frost, then the air can't circulate. If there is not frost build up, then that means your damper in the upper left corner of the refrigerator isn't opening and the damper will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue.

OK I will try that and get back to you within an hour.

ok good luck.

Still working on it, trying to defrost, couldn't get access to back panel because of freezer shelves can't remove them. I can see the frost build up thru vent holes. Have placed a fan heater in freezer to speed up defrost. Will get back to you when done.

ok well without removing the back panel it will probably be at least 8 hours before you thaw all the frost behind that panel out.
