We have difficulty unplugging the various components (cartridges/elements)

Resolved Question:

We have difficulty unplugging the various components (cartridges/elements) from the socket in our jenn-air downdraft cooktop (JED8230). It seems to get stuck in the socket. This is only true on one side.

Why did you delete the answer already? I didn't even get a chance to see it. What was your response?

You have no choice here but to access the receptacle to fit new terminals. Take off the whole top to do this- there is no magic or secret way out of doing the needed work to repair this.
