Resolved Question:

I have an LG WM2455HG, the washer was working fine and stopped in the middle of a load of towels and will not power up. Any Idea what is wrong I uses a volt meter and I have power to the unit and through the noise filter.

Repairman1981 :

to be honest almost anything could have caused it

Repairman1981 :

You efinitly have a bad board unless the breaker is blown

Repairman1981 :

You need to replace that and see what works and what doesn't

Customer:

my home circuit breaker didn't blow. are there any fuses internal that could cause this? is there anyway to tell for sure that it is the board that is bad?

Repairman1981 :

nope, well, made onto the board there is one

Repairman1981 :

Hard to see through the case though, and it is soldered in so not changable

Customer:

when you say the board is bad, do you mean the control panel with the buttons at the front of the unit or the computer in the back of the unit?

Repairman1981 :

no the power board at the back

Repairman1981 :

the front is just lights and switches

Customer:

do you happen to know about how much that part costs

Repairman1981 :

lemme see if I can find it for you

Repairman1981 :

EBR32268002 is the part number
