Upon return from vacation we found our Profile Refrigerator

This answer was rated:

Upon return from vacation we found our Profile Refrigerator Model PSC23SGRRSS had failed resulting in all of the food rotting. The freezer and refrigerator lights still worked (and other appliance clocks were still on time) so there doesn't seem to be an overall electrical problem.

My untrained opinion is that either the circuit board has failed or the cooling system has failed. Any ideas?

is the fan in the freezer running?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Nothing was running. The lights were on but that was it.

Unplugging and replugging the refrigerator makes no difference. Attempting to adjust the temps for either freezer or refrigerator just causes brief blinking of "0000" and then the LED goes out.

okay , your correct the main control board has failed, this is located in the back of the refrigerator behind an 8X10" cover, pull the refrigerator away from the wall and go behind you will see the cover. you can order the part at the link below.
