SubZero_Wolf Expert :

Hello, I can help you with this. This sounds like a failure of the circulation pump. If you remove the lower kick plate do you hear an humming sound from the right hand side under the unit after fill? Are you comfortable with a multimeter to do wire testing? Let me know and I can assist further. Thanks, Sam

Customer:

im letting it refill

Customer:

yes i can use a meter

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX know if the circulation pump hums.

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

Odds are its the pump but if you don't hear any sounds at all I would like to check for voltage to be sure the board is ok.

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

The board don't really fail in this way but better safe than sorry

Customer:

dont here a humming noise

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

The next step would be to check for output voltage at the board. Does this unit have a cusXXXXX XXXXX panel on it?

Customer:

no

Customer:

note: it does drain whith cancel and drain

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

The fill and drain sound like they are working properly, if you started it and waited for the entire circ cycle I'm sure it would finish, it just won't engage the circ pump.

SubZero_Wolf Expert :

There are 6 screws (T20) that hold the door panel onto the main door. If you remove those and the panel you can gain access to the wires and test for voltage at the connector.

Customer:

I just found the problem. the front handle/ cover had broke off and there was a loose conection on the plug on the control panel. it is running now, hopefully that will solve the problem. Thanks for your time.
