Repairman1981 :

Does the pump get power?

Repairman1981 :

You should check the pump with a volt meter, could be a bad timer, or could have bad pump windings, the volt check would be the fastest way to determine

Customer:

no i didnt when it kicks in it sound like its almost straining to start the pump and just dies out

Repairman1981 :

there is an overload on the pump, if it's clear and engaging like that you have a bad winding in the pump motor and need to replace the pump motor

Repairman1981 :

It will probably buzz again if you let it cool 15 mins or so and it's still getting power (spin cycle doesn't last that long though)(

Customer:

i figured as much :(

Repairman1981 :

Sorry for the bad news at least your not paying a 90.00 service call for the information :)

Repairman1981 :
