Kenmore Ultrawash Quiet Guard Deluxe Model(NNN) NNN-NNNN601

I tried to observe what was going on last night - set it onTurbo Zone - and sometime well-into the wash cycle or maybe even rinse, the water WAS coming through hot, but not distributing well in the washer. The detergent cup (liquid) didn't even wash clean, nor the door. Some motion toward the bottom of the washer, though.

Okay start the dishwasher and let it fill with water, once it's full and starts to wash open the door and tell me how much water is in the bottom in inches, doesn't reach the heater? Let me know, thanks, Bryan

There's about 1/2 in of cool water and the wash cycle is in progress

okay your not getting enough water, you need to replace the water inlet valve. This is located behind the access panel under the door and the front of the machine. This is a very common issue on these what happens is they do not open fully inlet enough water flow in it for the timer shuts off the fill cycle, replace the valve that should take care of it I hope this helps, thanks, Bryan
