I have a miele washing machine - it stopped mid cycle. breakers fine, plugged in.
drained water etc but no lights nothing.

Reset the controller as follows:

  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • ----- Wait 20 minutes. -----
  • (The timing is very important --- 15 minutes is too short and 30 minutes may be too long. If you miss the time window, plug the unit back in for 5 minutes and start over.
  • Re-connect the power cord and test Miele for operation.
  • Download the service manual from the link below:

  • Check for proper ac voltage at the wall outlet with a multimeter.
  • Trace the ac power to the electronic power board.
  • If power is available to the power board perform the test on page 45 to determine which of the 2 boards is faulty.
