OK, I got the relay. $62.82 My compressor is EGY 80HLP. Matching relay is part(NNN) NNN-NNNN I remove a black attachment from the old relay and attach it to the new. The problem I am having now is that the relay does not appear to fit very well onto the compressor. Is it suppose to be difficult or am I missing something? It was easier removing than installing, but then again the relay was burnt.

Hi I'm John I will help you with the relay problem.

Are the pins on the compressor clean , what problem are you having?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I am having a problem plugging the new relay I purchased into the compressor. The round pins are clean, it is the third odd shaped pin that may need cleaning. What is the best way to clean it?

The best is to use a fine sand paper if its not clean the relay wont push on ,

I am back. I cleaned the leads with sand paper. Thing still does not fit on the compressor. I am discouraged with this. Did I get the right parts? Having doubts about doing this thing.

Is this the part you received if it is it should fit on to the compressor pins.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The relay does not seem to fit. Not sure what else to do.
Is it the replacement relay and the compressor pins have to be very clean.
