Hi I'm John I will help you with the problem.

Are the clothes just sitting on the bottom or to the side of the tub as if it did spin a little.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The clothes are on the side. It does look like the spin cycle work, but not so well. I will also verify with my tenants.
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
Check the drain hose to make sure the drain hose isn't kinked up this will cause the problem.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
OK, so it is not the belt for the washer drum that spins it?
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
No the washer is a direct drive so no belt on the washer.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
OK, if it is not the drain then what else could it be? Also, should I take the hose off to check if there is something blocked in there?
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
You can check the hose for a kink and you can put the hose in a bucket to see if water does drain out if some water drains out that is left in the tub the pump could have a cloth in the pump to stop all the water from draining.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
OK,is there a way to clean the pump? Is it easy? I am asking these what if scenarios so when I go to the rental unit I can fix the problem at the same time.

We ran 2 test loads. At one time it looked like the clothes were sitting on the bottom and the next time it seemed like they were on the side.
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
No they were quite wet.
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.

If its a slower spin than normal it can be a transmission problem thats if all loads end up wet like that.

are you sure its agitating.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I am going to check it tomorrow night. What does agitate mean?
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
Agitates means when the agitator is going back and fourth to wash the clothes.
