I have a Litton Generation II Microwave for which I cannot

Resolved Question:

I have a Litton Generation II Microwave for which I cannot find the power level. It was a gift to me in 1980.

Can you tell me whether it's a 750 or 1100 "power" appliance? That seems to be especially important now that there are so many newer models and the food recipes may have to be adjusted.

Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

Do you have a model number so I can see what wattage your microwave it? It should be located on a sticker just inside the microwave and can be seen if you open up the door.

I can't find any sticker, nor any model number.....BUT I did find what appears to be a serial number which was on the right-side inner frame of the door: 44772P02.

Does that help?

Expert:  Tyler Z. replied 5 years ago.
ok well the serial number doens't help unfortunately, you definitely need to know the model number in order to know what kind of microwave you have and thus the wattage that it ouputs.

Okay - I found the following on a plate on the back of the unit:

Model # XXXXX A Serial Number 074725. That should help, right?

it looks like this unit is quite an old unit actually and only rated at 700 watts.
