I need to replace the drain hose on my Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive model #L08 washing machine. I can't see how to get to where the hose connects. Do I need to ge a special F & P hose? If so, where do I get one? I got a generic one at the hardware store, but that doesn't seem to matter as I can't access the area where I need to be.
You need a specific hose assembly you run down to the base of the tube

The water actually comes out the pump through a rubber tube and into the drain hose
However you can't splice a corrugated hose with anything
Just give them a call and get the hose and I can help walk you through replacement
You have a bit of disassembly
But you do have to get to the bottom and run it out of the case
Takes me (knowing what I'm doing) about 30 mins
so when i get the piece , do i just get in touch with you so you can walk me through it ?
