Either you have a defective door latch switch or a defective touchpad assembly. If that is the only button that does not work then check the door latch switch's. If other buttons "normal", "pots pans" etc. do not work then you have a defective touchpad.

Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX the buttons on the touch pad do light up and seem to respond, the start button included, however they cycle does not proceed.
What if you close the door and push the "cancel" button. is there any response?
Check the door switch's. you will need to remove the inner door panel to get to the latch.
