Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name isXXXXX will be helping you with your appliance issue today.

Okay have you smelled any funny burning plasticy smell at all in this when you try and run it?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
No, have not had any unusual smells. Light comes on but it will not cook. Have tried a single slice of bacon, popcorn, but no go.

Okay it sounds like the magnetron has failed in this, this is the part that cooks the food. The good news is this is covered under warranty for five years, there should be a number in your book you can call to set up a service call and have them replace this, hope this helps, thanks, Bryan
