Customer Question

I have a Whirlpool washer model LSN2000JQN this washer was working fine until a leather belt apparently got caught between drum and agitator. I found and replaced broken coupler. After assembly I tested and found system now operates but will not agitate at all. the Timer operates. water fills and drum spins, but no agitate. I did hear a buzz noise a couple of times but cant even duplicate sound.

When I heard the noise that was my first thought was a motor hum but everything else worked.

The motor reverses direction for wash and spin. So it is possible the wash windings have burnt out.

It makes no sound at all now!

You would have to test for power to the motor to determine if that is the problem.
