Hi, my name is Farrell & I will be helping you with your problem today. Thanks for using just answer. The sewer smell is coming from a combination of soap, dirt, hard water. Please get yourself one gallon of white distilled vinegar. You can use the distilled vinegar to wipe down the clear cover. Set your washer on the hot setting. As it is filling, pour the whole gallon of distilled vinegar in the washer. When it starts to agitate, let it go for about 5 minutes. Pause or turn the machine off in the setting its on and leave it set over nite. The next morning, turn it back on in the setting it was left at, and let it go on thru the wash to the end. It may take two applications to clean up. Then do the same procedure off and on down the road, to keep it clean. One gallon of distilled vinegar works very well in your dishwasher also. One quart in you coffeemaker, the same results. Hope this helps and have a good day. Smile
