Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

Did this happen overnight or did this happen over the course of a few days?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
This happened overnight. I woke up this morning to a small puddle of water on the floor and thought maybe one of the kids had spilled some water from the dispenser. It turns out the ice in the freezer reservoir had melted and it was leaking.

ok pull the refrigerator forward and remove the lower back access panel. Is the fan next to the compressor running? Touch the compessor, is it hot, warm, or cold?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Yes, the fan next to the compressor is running and the compressor is hot.

ok so there is a plastic box attached to the side of the compressor with wires running into it. Unplug the refrigerator and remove the plastic box. This is your overload relay and if it rattles, you need to replace the overload relay, otherwise your compressor is bad and you'd needa new compressor.
