LG Refrigerator Model LMX25981ST showing code ER F1. Have unplugged it for 3hrs and then plugged back in. Code still showing. Have checked all air ducts as adivsed and have not found any blockage. What next?

Hello,This is a evaporator fan motor error code. Do you hear a fan running in the freezer section? Also, is the fresh food section not cooling?

Fresh food section is coolling. Upon replugging frig into electrcial, fan was running. Then stopped when code reappeared.
Any oother suggestions?
Ok good, check the fan for voltage. If power is present when the code is on the front the fan is bad. If no power is present the control would be bad.

I would suspect the fan motor it's common. I would make the test or hire someone to test it before you ordered the parts.Let me know
