The smell from the machine is going to be a lot of work to clean it up.
First, run the machine on it's hottest programme with nothing in it.
This will dissolve a lot of the built up undissolved soaps and body fats.
Next, hottest programme with 1/2 cup of soda crystals in it.
This will help remove any scale and remove some more of the soap and body fats.

In the UK we can get this online or in the supermarkets, you'll need to search for it in Australia and see what they offer.

Once cleaned up, dry the door seal after use and leave the door ajar to prevent bacterial growth in the tub (the source of the smell).
Do a regular maintenance wash to keep the machine clean.
