water standing in dishwasher

we tried that by setting it to rinse only, when we hit cancel it shuts down and does not drain. While running a wash cycle earlier it went to and HO then went on to finishe the cycle but still leaves standing water ( about an inch)
Does this drain hos connect to a garbage disposal under the sink?
yes it does we just installed a brand new disposal
Ok you need to remove the drain hose and then put a screw diver in the disposal where the hose connects to it. There is a plug you have to knock out.
We did that when we installed, it does drain some of the water but leaves that small amount standing, Also when we first crancked it up, on normal wash during the wash it went to an HO flashening then went on to finish cycle.
HO means the dishwasher is in a heating delay. Make sure the hose isn't kinked. Also that the drain hose has a high rise loop in it.
It has a high rise loop in it... no kincked hose... we bought the dishs washer new it was just a floor modle never used. Do you by chance have a service manual you can send us for this dishwasher ? also an owners manual?
There is no service manuals for newer appliances.

Remove the hose from the disposal and drain it into a bucket. Does it have good water flow out of the hose.
it did not pump anything out at all, but the silonoid got real hot
Ok remove the solenoid. That is the drain pump. This unit might have been returned. When you buy a floor model you never know what you get. The solenoid is the drain pump. Make sure it isn't clogged.
