I have a GE Washer Model WJRE5500G1WW, 3 years old. Frequently

Resolved Question:

I have a GE Washer Model WJRE5500G1WW, 3 years old. Frequently it starts to fill and then stops and all lights (less soak) come on. I press the start button again and it does the same. I do this four or fives times, sometimes more, until it fills then it runs through its cycle. I have tried holding down the start button for 3 seconds and longer and the same thing happens. Any suggestions?

I have the cold water valve fully open and see the water running. It appears that it is running satisfactorily.

The water runs into the tub for one or two seconds before stopping. Then the flow four lights come on and the washer stops.

The washer just finished a complete cycle satisfactorily. I just started it up on a second wash cycle and it is operating normally. This is not a new problem. We have had this problme quite a number of times. I'd call it an intermittent problem.
