Customer: replied 5 years ago.
There is no sound. Do not find the model number on front or back.
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
You will find the model number inside the fridge on the side panel.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
If by side panel, you mean any side of the doors, it is not there. Is this what you meant?
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.
Its inside the fridge section on one of the walls, I need that model to see if that model has a defrost timer.

This is the defrost timer its located in the same control panel as the thermostat .

the fridge is stuck in the defrost cycle and this timer has to be replaced or the thermostat has failed.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Where is the control panel located?
Expert:  John replied 5 years ago.

The control panel is the one where the thermostat is located the one you use to turn the fridge on and set the temperature.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The fridge came back on and is back to normal temps. Do you think I still need a service man to come out and replace the defrost timer? ONe time only incident or likely to repeat?

Thanks for your help.

If it came back on I would leave it to see if it happens again .

you know now how to set it to defrost so if it happens again do the same thing and then replace the timer.
