how do you mean set the timer? is this not comming on?

i put ona new timer it will not come on if i put in the four quarters but if i turn the timer with my hand it will kick on at a certain angle but not with coins.

ok, so the plunger isnt pulling the timer back to start the cycle, can you resend the model # ? it didnt come through, just all xxxxxx came through.

Okay great , check number 14 on this diagram and make sure it's standing straight up when the timer is in the off position, also do you have number five on the diagram installed correctly on the slide assembly? This part slides by number 14 as you can see spring-loaded and when you pull the slide back it catches number 14 and pulls the timer into the start position, you need to make sure that number 14 is standing up so it can catch it on the way back.
