my microwave model pvm1870sm1ss serial no sr901740b makes a noise when it is turned on. the noise seems to be coming from the fan and the microwave seems to operate fine in terms of cooking. almost a rattling noise. what can I do to solve this very irritating situation? Why does is sound like the fan. If the table still turns would it still be the turntable motor?

yes it could still turn if its bad but it will fail, are you sure its comming from the bottom? can you take the bottom panel underneith down and unplug the turntable and run this to see if the noise stops?
