Peter :

Hi, my name is Peter. "SE" code stands for a keypad is held down for longer than 10 seconds. If you were not holding down a button then you have a defective key pad.

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

And there is not a way to reset it?

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

light on the inside of the microwave works, nothing else does because it doesnt allow you to press any buttons

Peter :

It will not allow any buttons to be pressed because it thinks one is already being pressed.

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

whats the most likely part that needs to be replace, the keypad part, or some part connected to it

Peter :

The key pad.

Peter :

If you have the serial # XXXXX can provide the part # XXXXX where to purchase.

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

whats the part name from Maytag, or part number...is it the Switch Membrane

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

serial# XXXXX

Peter :

DE34-00231A switch, membrane. It can be ordered from www.reliableparts.com

SE Keypad shorted 10 seconds or longer. Sticky keypad(s).

Peter :

That is the text from the tech sheet that should be located behind the control panel inside the unit.

JACUSTOMER-2d4qguy0- :

I wasn't lucky enough to have a tech sheet that included that

Peter :

They are usually tucked right at the bottom below the board or up behind the grille.
